As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, You will:

  • Partner with other preschool teachers to implement our curriculum and have the unique opportunity to use our engaging characters to make ELC a fun place for children to learn, play, and grow.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom, quality compliance and health and safety standards throughout the daycare classrooms and programs.
  • Collaborate with your peers to create a great working environment and a welcoming and engaging daycare space for children.
  • Communicate with parents and families, sharing their child’s latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including parents’ communication platform.

Do You:

  • Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
  • Have Associate in education, a high school diploma/GED (Early Childhood Education course or a CDA credential (Child Development Associate)?
  • Have 0 to 2 Years of experience?

Required working days are Monday through Thursday from 8:00am-5:00pm. This is a full-time position and will be 100% in-person at the Norristown Office.

Must obtain the following three clearances:

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance;
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Background Check; and
  • National Sex Offender Registry Clearance.
