SUMMER FUN AND LEARNING

SUMMER FUN AND LEARNING

Summer is an important time for helping students focus on educational growth and healthy activities. Below are some of the activities being enjoyed by over 200 students at ACLAMO´s five different sites in Montgomery County and Philadelphia this summer.

During a very warm July day, students in one of ACLAMO’s Pottstown classes enjoyed wading in French Creek at Crow’s Nest Preserve near Elverson, PA. During the hike, they identified and learned how to help protect the many life forms in that environment.

Pottstown Community Arts came to ACLAMO´s Pottstown program with a variety of art supplies to challenge students’ creativity. The children were up to the task!

Knowing letters of the alphabet is going to come in handy when school starts in the fall.

Giraffes at the Elmwood Park Zoo enjoy lettuce from ACLAMO students.
