At ACLAMO, we believe in nurturing potential, and nothing embodies that more than our ADELANTE program for high school students. We had the privilege of supporting all our ADELANTE freshmen as they applied for the nationally recognized Roadtrip Nation documentary project—a powerful and highly competitive opportunity that empowers young people to explore careers, identity, and purpose through storytelling and real-world experiences.
We’re beyond thrilled to share that one of our very own, Luis Sanchez, was selected as one of only three students chosen from hundreds of applicants across the country. And if you know Luis, you know why.
Luis has been part of the ACLAMO family since the third grade. Over the years, we’ve watched him grow from a bright-eyed student to a dedicated Counselor-in-Training. Today, he’s not only one of our lead tutors—helping the next generation find their footing—but also a sophomore at Temple University, where he’s studying Education.
Watching Luis’s journey has been one of the most rewarding parts of our work. And now, through this national platform, the world gets to see what we’ve known for years: Luis is a shining light, full of purpose, potential, and passion.
The first episodes of the Roadtrip Nation documentary featuring Luis are now live! You can watch them here:

We hope it fills you with the same pride and inspiration it brought to all of us.
At ACLAMO, we often say that this is more than just a job—it’s a mission. Seeing students like Luis achieve such incredible milestones reminds us why we do this work. Thank you for believing in our mission and in the future we’re building together.
