Student Success Coach
JOB OVERVIEW
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young students? We are looking for a Student Success Coach to join our team at the ACLAMO Youth Mentoring and Career Development program, where we ignite a passion for learning and pave the way for bright futures!
- Salary: Competitive 47,000 – 50,000,00 annual

- Education: A bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university, at least 2 years of working experience as a career coach or related field, bilingual Spanish/English, Coaching skills or related field
- Work Schedule/type: Full-time, Monday through Thursday 10:30 am – 6:30 pm, Friday 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Our program is dedicated to support Latino youth in literacy, math, and science through engaging mentoring, tutoring, and homework assistance. We go beyond the basics with exciting STEAM-focused enrichment activities that inspire curiosity and innovation.
Our mission is to bridge educational gaps for underserved Latino students from low-income households, offering personalized academic guidance and coaching through specialized tutorials.
The Student Succes Coach Coordinator serves in a critical role to assist students/individuals 12 to 24 with career development, professional goals and long-term workplace success strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting instructors with teaching strategies, planning professional development sessions, and addressing classroom challenges.
- With the Education Program Manager, plan and facilitate professional development and training sessions to enhance instructional methods.
- Develop individualized academic plans, monitor student progress, and identify areas for growth through assessments.
- Provide one-on-one mentorship, facilitate workshops, and coordinate academic advising, including college planning and financial aid guidance.
- Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Knowledge of current educational trends, best practices, and instructional strategies.
- Ability to analyze academic data and develop actionable plans for improvement.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
