Early Learning Center Director
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Early Learning Center as the Director.
- Competitive Salary $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year.

- A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (preferred) or related field (required).
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of childcare director experience. Must live in Pennsylvania and have an advanced knowledge of PA licensing regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 8-hour shift / Monday to Friday. No weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing a Learning Center, demonstrating strong leadership, administrative skills, and a deep understanding of early childhood education principles.
- Director Credential preferable. If not already acquired the director must be willing to enroll in a Director’s Credential program.
One of the following:
- 1) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in , child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
- (2) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Early Learning Center: Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania regulations and maintain legal and financial accountability.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Collaborate with leadership to update policies on personnel, health, and safety.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Attract a culturally and ethnically diverse student body.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, supervise staff, resolve conflicts, and review lesson plans.
- Curriculum Selection: Choose high-quality, appropriate curricula for preschool education.
- STARS Program Compliance: Write monthly CQI plans and adhere to program requirements.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare financial reports, manage expenses, and handle invoicing.
- Support Teaching Staff: Ensure educational standards and foster a professional environment.
- Performance Evaluations: Conduct evaluations, provide feedback, and set development goals.
