Turn Your PA Taxes into Opportunity
|
|
Did You Know?
What if the taxes your business already pays could help a student succeed, support a family, or open a door that once felt out of reach?
Through Pennsylvania’s EITC program, businesses can receive up to 90% in tax credits while investing directly in programs that change lives right here in our community.
At ACLAMO, we see the impact of that investment every day. A student who once struggled begins to believe in their future. A family finds stability. A young person becomes the first in their household to plan for college.
Instead of paying your full tax bill to the state, your company can help make these moments possible.

The doors of our Pottstown Center opened last week, but what filled the space was something much bigger than an Open House. It was a room full of people who care.
Neighbors, partners, and community leaders came together not just to visit, but to connect, to share ideas, build relationships, and reaffirm a shared commitment to the families we serve.
Even the ongoing roof repairs took on new meaning. They became more than a project. They became a symbol of what it takes to create a safe and welcoming space for community.
What stood out most that evening wasn’t the program or the updates, it was the feeling in the room. A shared belief that real change happens when people show up for one another.
We are deeply grateful to the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation and to everyone who joined us. Your support is what keeps these doors open, and what fills them with purpose.

A Recognition that Belongs to Our Community
|
|
We are honored to be named a Top 5 – 2026 Norristown Award Winner.
But this recognition doesn’t belong to us alone—it belongs to our community. It belongs to every family that has trusted us during a difficult moment.
To every partner who has stood beside us.
To every staff member who shows up each day ready to support, guide, and uplift.
Behind every review is a story. A moment when someone felt heard, supported, and not alone. That is what this recognition represents. And it reminds us why we do this work, every single day.

Elevating Community Voices

When Cindy Castillo took the stage at the 2026 Health Equity Summit, she didn’t just speak as a professional. She spoke from lived experience. She shared what it means to navigate systems that are not always designed for everyone—and gave voice to the challenges many immigrant families face every day.
In doing so, she reminded everyone in the room of something essential: Real solutions begin when we listen.
At ACLAMO, that belief guides our work every day as we continue to build trust and walk alongside families in their journey.

Building Stronger Partnerships for Student Success
|
|
Recently, we came together with partners from the Norristown Area School District for a simple but powerful purpose: to listen, reflect, and improve.
Together, we talked about what’s working, where we can grow, and how to better connect school-day learning with the support students receive through our mentoring programs.
At the center of the conversation was one guiding question:
How can we make our programs even more meaningful for every student we serve?
While there may not be a photo from that day, what we gained was something more valuable: stronger relationships, new ideas, and a shared commitment to student success.

In just one day, something powerful happened. With the support of partners like HIAS Pennsylvania and Montgomery County’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, our space became a place of possibility.
Fifteen pro bono attorneys and paralegals worked side by side with our Social Services team to support individuals navigating the immigration process. By the end of the day:
- 28 individuals were assisted in person
- 6 more received support by phone
Each conversation, each form, each moment of guidance helped move someone one step closer to stability and opportunity. This is what happens when community comes together, not just to help, but to stand alongside one another.

Imagining the Future, One Student at a Time
What does the future look like?
For a group of seventh and eighth-grade students, it looked like a city they built themselves.
Through a hands-on project, students took apart everyday electronics and used those pieces to design their own “City of the Future.” Along the way, they explored how cities grow, how communities function, and how ideas turn into reality.
One student shared:
“Our city is called Santos City… it includes a place where people can enjoy plants, and a building that uses antennas to predict the weather for everyone.”
In that moment, it wasn’t just a project. It was imagination, confidence, and possibility coming to life.

Circle of Support Among Women

Each month, a group of mothers comes together, not just to learn, but to connect.
In our maternal health sessions, participants reflect on parenting, healing, and what it means to build something better for the next generation. They talk about challenges. They share experiences. They support one another.
Recently, a guest doula led a conversation on postpartum depression, helping participants better understand both the challenges and the support available.
These moments matter. They remind us that no one has to navigate these journeys alone.

PECO volunteers at ACLAMO Norristown Center
|
|
|
Sometimes, impact looks like something simple. A group of PECO volunteers spent the day cleaning our main entrance, raking leaves, picking up debris, and preparing the space for spring.
But what they created was more than a clean entrance. They created a space that feels welcoming. A place where families feel seen and valued the moment they arrive.
We are deeply grateful, not just for what was done, but for the spirit behind it.

Standing Together Against Hunger
|
|
|
Each month, through our Safe Haven Food Pantry, we see the reality of food insecurity and the strength of a community that refuses to ignore it.
Families arrive not just for food, but for connection, dignity, and support. Through partnerships like the Norristown Advocates Coalition, we continue working together to ensure that no one in our community is left behind.

Standing With ACLAMO: Partner of the Month
|
|
|
Our work is not done alone. With the support of HealthSpark Foundation, we launched Comunidad Unida: Caminos de Esperanza, an initiative focused on expanding access to legal advocacy and mental health services. At its core, this work is about walking alongside families during uncertain times—ensuring they have the support they need to move forward.
We invite you to experience this important initiative and the impact behind it. Watch the full video below:

|
|
Every act of support—big or small—helps move this work forward. And every person who contributes becomes part of something larger than themselves.
|
|
|
If you’ve made it this far, you are already part of this community. And if you believe in this work, we invite you to take the next step. Your support powers our programs. Your involvement strengthens our community.
|
|
|
And help us continue this work.
