ACLAMO Family Centers, a charitable, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, provides educational programs, social services and access to health and wellness programs to Latinos and other community members to empower them to fully achieve their life potential. Finance & Operations Administrator

The Finance & Operations Administrator reports to the Executive Director (ED) and is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports for ACLAMO. S/he provides financial support to the ED through bookkeeping, payroll, banking, reporting services, building operations and general administration. The Finance & Operations Administrator maintains all necessary and appropriate records, files and processes to ensure the smooth and compliant financial operation of the organization, focusing on accuracy and transparency. The ideal candidate has experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for the organization, and has preferably knowledge of the human resources function.

This is a full-time position located in the Norristown area.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • B. A. in accounting, administration or finance.
  • A minimum of 4 years of overall professional experience; ideally 3+ years of financial and operations management with bookkeeping/accounting experience.
  • Bilingual Recommended (English/Spanish)

 


Fatherhood Program Specialist

The Fatherhood Program Specialist is responsible for overall supervision of ACLAMO’s Fatherhood Program group workshops. He/she will be the lead teacher utilizing the program curriculum materials and coordinator of activities and events with father participants and their families. The Fatherhood Program Specialist serves to recruit participation of males in the program, plan, promote and facilitate father involvement activities to emphasize and encourage self-awareness and a family approach to child development. An ideal candidate will be highly organized, a strong and proactive communicator and a leader with previous experience in social work, education, early childhood education, or a related field.

This is a full-time position located in the Norristown/Pottstown area.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in social work, early childhood education, health or any closely related field required. Experience in education and fatherhood related programs preferred.
  • Complete the 24/7 Dad Curriculum Training
  • Bilingual (Spanish)

Lead Teacher

2 Positions

The lead teacher will instruct a class of students in ACLAMO’s after school program. The ideal candidate will have a background in the field of education and be highly organized, flexible and patient with students. The Lead teacherwill also supervise students, organize and prepare materials for class and work with members of the staff.

This is a part time position 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm - school year located in Norristown.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or a student from an accredited college or university in education, or any related field, or an associate degree from an accredited college or university in education, or any related field
  • Experience working with Elementary and Middle School students is preferred

Teacher Assistant

The teacher’s assistant is responsible for supporting a lead teacher and may be asked to provide small group or whole class instruction, as needed. The teacher’s assistant will also supervise students, organize and prepare materials for class and work with members of the staff. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, well organized and adept at working in a team and individually.

This is a part time position 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm - school year located in Norristown.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • College student and/or associate degree.
